The maximum number of wireless users you can connect through your WiFi router differs from brand to brand. Routers sold for home use typically accommodate between 32 and 250 simultaneous wireless connections.

Good performance is attainable with 10 to 30 devices sharing an Internet connection with a router. Keep in mind, however, that unauthorized sharing of your Optimum Online connection does not comply with the Optimum Online's Terms of Service (http://www.optimum.net/Terms).

For information specific to your router make and model, please consult the user guide that came with your router. Here are some links to the more popular manufacturers:

الراوترات تستحمل توصيل اجهزة بعدد الايبيهات المتاحة بدون اى مشكلة او حدود , ولكن قد تظهر المشكلة نتيجة تحديد عدد من اللايبيهات فقط والحل هنا
Open a browser and go to http://192.168.1.1 (http://192.168.1.1/). From this site, log into the router using no username, and admin for the password (these are the defaults, if you've changed the user/pass, login with that info). Check the DHCP pool. Make sure its set to allow a range of about 50-100 devices. It should read 192.168.1.100 to 192.168.1.200, or similar. This is the first thing that comes to mind, that your pool may only be set to allow 5 devices for some reason.
