تستند تقنية Intel WiDi على المواصفات الخاصة بمعيارWi-Fi CERTIFIED Miracast من Wi-Fi Alliance، كما توفّر تقنية Intel WiDi اتصالات سريعة وموثوقة وفترة انتظار منخفضة لعك س الشاشة وجودة فائقة للصوت والفيديو وتشغيلاً سلساً وعالي الوضوح لمقاطع الفيديو للعرض اللاسلك.يقصد بمعيار Wi-Fi CERTIFIED Miracast هو عبار ة تقنية معيارية جديدة متفق عليها عالميا من قبل الشركات لعرض شاشة جهاز الهاتف أو شاشة الحواسيب اللوحية والمحمولة على شاشة التلفاز بطريقة لاسلكية و يتم من خلالها نقل الصوت و الصورة، فهي تشبه وصل الجهاز بكابل HDMI بالشاشة و لكن الفرق هنا أن الإتصال يتم بشكل لاسلكي.
مميزات تقنية WiDi
[*=right]العرض الفوري للمحتوي عالي الوضوح المحفوظ على أجهزة الهاتف أو الحواسيب اللوحية.
[*=right]تسمح بتبادل وعرض المحتوى.
[*=right]نقل المحتوى الإلكتروني كمقاطع الفيديو على يوتيوب لعرضها على أجهزة التلفاز.
[*=right]إيصال عالي وكامل الدقة FULL HD لاسلكيا.
[*=right]لا تحتاج لأي إتصال بشبكة إتصال لاسلكية حيث تعتمد على تقنية Wi-Fi Direct.
[*=right]غير محصورة بمنتجات شركة معينة، فيمكن ايصال جهازين من شركتين مختلفتين ببعضهما بدون مشاكل.
[*=right]معيار عالمي تستطيع استعماله أي شركة بدون أخذ تصريح من أو التنسيق مع شركة اخرى
[*=right]تختلف عن الـ dnla بأنها تعرض كل ما يظهر على الشاشة اياً كان، أما dnla فهي فقط لملفات الفيديو و الصوت.
كيف تعمل تقنية WiDi ؟
تقنية WiDi لاتحتاج لأجهزة خاصة للبث، فقط كل ما تحتاج إليه هو جهاز مزود بهذه التقنية وتلفاز يدعمها، ثم أتبع هذه الخطوات لطريقة التشغيل على ويندوز :
[*=right]من يسار الشاشة أختر تبويب الأجهزة
[*=right]إختر عرض ثم إضافة جهاز لاسلكي.
[*=right]بعد البحث قم بالنقر فوق أسم الجهاز وإختر إتصال.
[*=right]بعد الإتصال يمكنك عرض شاشاة الحاسب على التلفاز.
[*=right]يمكنك توسيع الشاشة وتحريك العناصر وسحبها بين الشاشتين.
[*=right]يمكنك قطع الإتصال عن طريق النقر على أيقونة الجهاز المتصل ثم إختيار قطع الإتصال.

كيف تعمل تقنية WiDi ؟
تقنية WiDi لاتحتاج لأجهزة خاصة للبث، فقط كل ما تحتاج إليه هو جهاز مزود بهذه التقنية وتلفاز يدعمها، ثم أتبع هذه الخطوات لطريقة التشغيل على ويندوز :

[*=right]إختر عرض ثم إضافة جهاز لاسلكي.
[*=right]بعد البحث قم بالنقر فوق أسم الجهاز وإختر إتصال.
[*=right]بعد الإتصال يمكنك عرض شاشاة الحاسب على التلفاز.
[*=right]يمكنك توسيع الشاشة وتحريك العناصر وسحبها بين الشاشتين.
