How to reset a DNS zone file?

Answer

You can reset a DNS zone file either in the WHM interface DNS Zone Manager or by using the WHM API 1 Functions - resetzone. To make this change using the interface you can perform the following steps.

1. Click Manage for the domain that you want to modify. A new interface will appear.
2. In this interface, click Actions above the zone record table.
3. Select Reset DNS Zone from the menu. A confirmation window will appear.
4. Click Continue to reset the domain’s DNS zone file, or click Cancel.

Please note that the system will attempt to preserve TXT records instead of deleting them.
