I WOULD NOT delete that folder. We did a while back by accident, and it screwed up our entire O/S and had to do a couple new O/S install. It cause a problem with the O/S kernel and other critical system files.
The /home/virtfs is a file system for the jailshell shell. It uses hardlinks to system directories binaries and libraries to provide a limited shell environment. If you delete the files in it, you delete the actual system files
