    Nike appears to have developed different business practices for the different countries it operated in. Therefor, Nike was attacked as exploitative and unethical. However, it was not clear if any laws were broken.
    Question One:
    Many believe that managers obligations are only toward stakeholders (while disregarding ethical and moral responsibilities) is acceptable. Others think the challenges are to be seen as acting responsibly and ethically while also complying with laws and regulations. This latter view is significant especially in the long run and is being made more complex by a number of complicating factors. Explain these factors while analysing the statements above. Give real life examples from ongoing organizations to support your answer.

    In his book Contemporary Strategy Analysis, Robert Grant provides us with a figure that illustrates the links between an organizations resources and capabilities on the one hand, and its potential to achieve competitive advantage on the other. Grant also argues that organizational resources and capabilities are durable, difficult to identify, imperfectly transferable, and not easily replicated. Therefore, it should be regarded as the organizations most important assets because they play a significant role in the firms competitive strategy.

    Undertake a resource-based analysis of your own organization, or an organization with which you are familiar explaining the different types of resources assessed. Then, based on this assessment, what steps should be taken by your selected organization to exploit its strengths and to correct its weaknesses in relation to its current and future strategy? Use current examples to support your analysis. (50 Marks)
