We have a Windows 7 Professional (x86) machine in a Domain Environment which will randomly require the user to enter their login password twice before giving them the desktop.

Next Morning - Press CTRL+ALT+DEL, Enter Password and then login screen comes back around again. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL again, enter password again, and he is able to log in. This behavior is very random.

Go to Control Panel, then Power Options. Click "Require a password on wakeup". Under "Password Protection on Wakeup", click on "Change Setting That Are Currently Unavailable", select the radio button "Don't Require a Password" and then Save Changes. Your done.
